Type your full legal name. Your name must match exactly what your employer has in their payroll system. If you get an error, check with your employer that your name is correct in their system.
If email/cell phone is already in use, you may already have an existing account that needs to be reactivated. Please contact support via the chat button in the app or email support@tapcheck.com.
Your password must follow the listed requirements.
To confirm your password, you must match what you typed above.
After 40 minutes, your pin will expire. If this happens, you’ll need to go back to step one.
If you didn’t receive a pin, you can request a new one to be sent via a different notification option.
If your Social Security Number and Date of Birth are entered correctly and you receive an error, please check that your employer has them correctly saved in their payroll system.
Tapcheck uses appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices, encryption, and other security measures to protect your sensitive information transmitted both online and offline.
Your employer may auto-populate based on the personal information you entered in the previous steps. f you automatically get connected to the incorrect employer during this process, please contact support via the chat button in the app or email support@tapcheck.com.
If your employer did not auto-populate, type your employer’s business name here. The entry of your employer’s name on this screen must match the legal business name or you will receive an error. If you are getting an error here, confirm the legal name of the business with your employer.
Example: “Goods&Services of USA LLC” not “Goods&Services”
In some cases, you may be asked to verify your identity by uploading a picture of your ID card.
Check the box to confirm that you have read and agree to Tapcheck’s terms and conditions.
Scroll to the bottom of the page for the ability to click ‘Next Step.’ If you are unable to see this button, the font on your mobile device may be too large and needs to be adjusted smaller via your phone’s Settings app.
Once all 5 steps have been completed, you will receive a confirmation that your account has been successfully created.
Now you can head to your Dashboard to link a payout account, check your available balance,* and transfer your earned wages ahead of payday!
*Your available balance will refresh 24 hours after you’ve completed a shift.

*Before you can complete your first transfer, you will be prompted to add a payout account.
To transfer your earned wages, you’ll first need to connect a payout account.
You can add an account from your dashboard by clicking:
‘More’ button in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
Then ‘Bank Account & Card.’
Finally ‘Transfer’ button.
You have the option to send your earned wages to the Tapcheck Mastercard, your bank account, or a third-party debit card.
If you are 18+ years of age, you can easily apply for the Tapcheck Mastercard. No credit checks or existing bank account is required!
With this card, there are no overdraft fees, and you’ll receive your full paycheck up to 2 days early at no cost when you set up direct deposit.

To apply for the Tapcheck Mastercard, read each document and then check the box to accept the terms and conditions.
You’ll then need to confirm your personal information and address.
If there is an error with your personal information or address, you’ll be directed to another platform to upload a picture of your ID for verification.
Once your identity is verified, you can start using your virtual card! Your physical card will be mailed to you within 5-7 business days.
If you don’t have a Tapcheck Mastercard, you can connect your bank account and debit card for next-day transfers and instant transfers.
If your employer offers the Rapid Pay Card, you’ll see the option to add yours on this screen.
Next Day transfers can be sent to your bank account or Tapcheck Mastercard. Enter your applicable account information on this screen and click ‘Add Account.’
Please note that it takes 24-48 hours to verify your account before you can make your first transfer.
Instant transfers can be sent to your Tapcheck Mastercard, debit card, or mobile payment app like CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, Chime, Paypal, and others. Enter your card information on this screen.
If you receive an error, it may be because the zip code you entered for your card does not match your home address zip code. Once this is corrected, you can connect your card.
If your card zip code matches your home address zip code, it may mean our system does not accept your card at this time. You can try another card, sign up for next-day transfers, or register for a Tapcheck Mastercard.
Congrats…once you have connected your payout account(s), it’s time to make your first early wage transfer!
